Delete your Era account
This page explains how to delete your Era account and the personal data we hold about you. Era is operated by feeling great LTD (128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom).
1. Delete your account from inside the app (fastest)
If you still have Era installed and can sign in:
- Open Era on your device.
- Tap the You tab in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by email (if you can't access the app)
If you have uninstalled Era, lost access to your sign-in method, or cannot use the in-app flow for any reason:
- Send an email to delete@feeling.gg.
- Use the subject line Delete my Era account.
- Tell us how you signed in (Apple, Google, email magic link, or anonymous device account) and include the email address associated with that sign-in. If you used an anonymous account and don't know your account ID, describe when you started using Era so we can locate your record.
We will verify your identity (typically by replying from the matching account email or asking a follow-up question), complete the deletion, and confirm in writing. We aim to complete verified requests within 7 days, and in any case within 30 days as required by applicable law.
3. What gets deleted
Whether you use the in-app flow or email us, the following are permanently deleted:
- Your profile — first name, date of birth, the people you listed, current and desired location, goals and dreams, current life state, behavioural and narrative preferences, worldview, life-context fields, and any biography or memory edits.
- Your generated stories — every audio file we produced for you, the transcript and scene metadata for each story, and the playback history attached to your account.
- Your account record — your Supabase authentication record, the email address (if any) we held for sign-in, and the anonymous device identifier we created on first launch.
- Your local data — when you use the in-app flow, the on-device cache (downloaded audio files, the SQLite database, and the encrypted onboarding store) is wiped on the same tap. If you delete by email after uninstalling, no local data remains on your device to remove.
4. What is kept, and for how long

Nothing in the above retention list is used for marketing, profiling, or to recreate your account.
5. After deletion
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore your profile, stories, or audio files after the request has been processed.
- Any active subscription must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions settings — Apple and Google control billing and we cannot cancel on your behalf.
- If you sign in to Era again after deletion, a brand-new account will be created with no link to the deleted one.
6. Other rights
Before deleting, you may want to export your data. From inside Era, go to You → Download my data to receive a JSON file containing your account metadata, full profile, every generated story, and time-limited links to your audio files. Full details of your privacy rights are in our Privacy Policy.
